80 DAYS OF SUMMER READING CHALLENGE: Primary & Grammar School
Students in first- sixth grade are required to participate in the 80 Days of Summer Reading Challenge. Download the log below and turn it into your teacher on the first day of class. All students who complete the challenge will earn a special treat! |

Rising 1st Grader Guidelines:
★ Students should make an effort to read for 20 minutes a day, striving to reach the goal of reading 80 books during the summer, ideally one per day. (click link below for book suggestions)
★ Write the title and author of each completed book on the reading log with the date it was read.
Rising 2nd- 6th Grader Guidelines:
★ Students should make an effort to read for 20 minutes a day, striving to reach the goal of reading for 80 days during the summer. Students are not required to read 80 individual books. (click links below for book suggestions)
★ Write the title and author of each completed book on the reading log with the date it was read. Include the number of pages/chapter read each day for chapter books.

To keep student's math facts fresh, please print and complete the Speed Drill Packets and return to your math tutor on the first day of classes. The completion of the packet will be the first grade of Quarter I for the Grammar School.

Success in a cumulative subject, like Latin, requires constant review. Most students forget quite a bit over the summer, so it is important to review with your Latin flashcards this summer.
