UNIFORM GUIDELINES

  • Skirts and jumpers must fall below the knee. No Knees! If the entire kneecap is visible when standing, the skirt or jumper is too short. Below knee helps keeps everything covered when sitting in a chair or on the floor.
  • HFA Sweatshirts only allowed in winter months only.
  • Jackets and coats cannot be worn in class.
  • All shirts must be tucked in.
  • An undershirt should be worn under see-through materials.
  • In grades where shorts are permitted, they may not be more than 3” above the knee.
  • Hats are not permitted indoors.
  • Cargo style, fleece or mesh/athletic shorts and pants are not permitted.
  • Hair Accessories: Must be solid navy, red, white, grey, navy houndstooth, or HFA plaid. ​
  • Jewelry: must be simple: girls may wear studs or small hoops and a simple necklace. No bracelets or dangle earnings.
